Toyota MR2 Mirror Switch Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: Where is the remote control mirror switch located and how do you check or replace it on Toyota MR2?
A: The remote control mirror switch is located on the left side of the instrument cluster finish panel, just to the left of the steering column. To check or replace the switch, first remove the instrument cluster finish panel. Pull it down far enough to unplug the electrical connector from the switch. Using an ohmmeter, check the switch continuity between terminals; if continuity is not as specified, replace the switch. To replace the switch, push in the tabs on the top and bottom of the switch housing and pull it from the back of the instrument cluster finish panel. Installation is the reverse of removal.
