Toyota Supra Timing Cover Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to remove the timing belt covers and associated components on Toyota Supra?
A: Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal, then remove the Crankshaft Pulley. Next, take off the fan clutch and fan shroud. For 1987 and later models, remove the air conditioner compressor without disconnecting the refrigerant hoses, supporting it with a piece of wire and hanging it out of the way. Additionally, remove the idler pulley bracket and the compressor bracket. After that, remove all fasteners and take off the No. 1 and No. 3 Timing Covers along with their gaskets. Installation is the reverse of removal.
