Toyota 22030-0P010 Fuel Injection Throttle Body

Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. V6 MODELS, Remove the engine cover. Remove the air filter housing. Disconnect the electrical connector from the throttle body (Depress the release tab and disconnect the electrical connector from the throttle body (V6 models)). Clamp-off the coolant hoses connected to the throttle body. Loosen the hose clamps and disconnect both coolant bypass hoses from the throttle body (Loosen the two hose clamps and disconnect the coolant bypass hoses from the throttle body, then remove the four throttle body mounting bolts (V6 models)). Remove the four throttle body mounting bolts and remove the throttle body. Remove the old throttle body 0-ring type gasket (Remove the 0-ring type gasket and inspect it for damage (V6 models)). Inspect the condition of the gasket. If it's cracked, torn or deteriorated, replace it. Note: To ensure that an air leak doesn't develop between the throttle body and the intake manifold, it's a good idea to simply replace this gasket anytime that you remove the throttle body. Installation is the reverse of removal. Be sure to tighten the throttle body mounting bolts to the torque. Check the coolant level, adding as necessary.FOUR-CYLINDER MODELS, Remove the intake air connector. Disconnect the electrical connector from the throttle body (Disconnect the electrical connector from the throttle body (four-cylinder models)). Loosen the hose clamps and disconnect both coolant bypass hoses from the throttle body (Loosen the two hose clamps and disconnect the coolant bypass hoses from the throttle body, then remove the throttle body mounting fasteners (four-cylinder models)). Unscrew the fasteners and remove the throttle body. Remove the old throttle body 0-ring type gasket (Remove and discard the old throttle body gasket (four-cylinder models)). Inspect the condition of the gasket. If it's cracked, torn or deteriorated, replace it. Note: To ensure that an air teak doesn't develop between the throttle body and the intake manifold, it's a good Idea to simply replace this gasket anytime that you remove the throttle body. Installation is the reverse of removal. Be sure to tighten the throttle body mounting bolts to the torque. Check the coolant level, adding as necessary.
