    Q:
What are the precautions and steps involved in removing, installing, and bleeding the master cylinder on 2007 through 2015 Toyota Avalon? Posted by Customer
    A:
The Brake Master Cylinder allows the piston to pop out and be exposed. Hold the Brake Master Cylinder by the body and not the piston, or it may be damaged. Do not attempt to remove the piston or let it be scratched or damaged. For removal, first, take off the engine covers. Next, remove the windshield wiper assembly, followed by the cowl assembly. Depress the brake pedal several times to release the vacuum from the booster. Disconnect the electrical connector for the brake fluid level warning switch. Extract as much fluid as possible from the reservoir using a syringe. Place rags underneath the fittings and prepare caps or plastic bags for the line ends. Brake fluid damages paint. Take precautions to avoid spills. Loosen the fittings at the brake line ends where they connect to the Brake Master Cylinder using a flare-nut wrench. Detach the brake lines from the Brake Master Cylinder and plug the ends. Remove the nuts connecting the Brake Master Cylinder to the power booster. Carefully pull the Brake Master Cylinder off the studs, keeping it level to ensure the piston doesn't come out and avoid spilling the fluid. For installation, when setting up the Brake Master Cylinder, remove the piston and port protective caps. If the piston becomes dirty, clean it and evenly apply lithium soap-based glycol grease around the sliding portion. Place the Brake Master Cylinder over the power brake booster studs, tightening the nuts only to finger tight. Keep the Brake Master Cylinder level or with the piston end up to stop the piston from falling. Attach bleeder tubes to the Brake Master Cylinder's outlet ports, fill the reservoir with brake fluid, and slowly push down the brake pedal, expelling air into the reservoir. Repeat until no bubbles remain. Detach the bleed tubes and thread the brake line fittings into the Brake Master Cylinder. After ensuring finger-tightness, slightly adjust the fittings as needed. Tighten the mounting nuts and brake line fittings, refill the Brake Master Cylinder with fluid, and bleed the Brake Master Cylinder. To complete the installation, reverse the removal steps and test the brake system thoroughly before using the vehicle normally.

What should be done after the installation is complete for the 2013 Toyota Camry? Posted by Customer
    A:
Thoroughly test the brake system before using the vehicle normally. Ensure the brake system functions properly and is free of any issues.
