    Q:
How do you remove and install the fuel pressure regulator in a fuel pump/sending unit assembly on 2002 through 2006 Toyota Avalon? Posted by Customer
    A:
Relieve the fuel system pressure, then disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the fuel pump. Twist the fuel pressure regulator from the assembly. The fuel pressure regulator is a push-fit in the fuel pump/sending unit assembly, make sure the O-ring comes out with it. Installation is the reverse of removal. Make sure to install a new O-ring on the fuel pressure regulator.

    Q:
How Do You Remove and Install a Fuel Pulsation Damper on 2002 through 2006 Toyota Avalon? Posted by Customer
    A:
First of all, lower the fuel pressure and disconnect the fuel line connector at the fuel pump pulsator. Use a special tool for the quick-connect coupling. On V6 models, unscrew the pulsator from the fuel rail. For four-cylinder models, remove the pulsator mounting bolts at the fuel rail. To install, reverse the removal process. Replace the O-ring on four-cylinder models and the gasket on V6 models.
