If it does not seat completely, align the marks on the stators and the rotor position correctly. However, for removing the bolt, one has to turn it anti clockwise and then proceed with the reverse sequence for installation. Last, inspect the ignition timing and use the distributor hold down bolt to fasten as a clamp.
