    How should the fasteners holding the instrument panel be handled for the 2008 Toyota Solara? Posted by Customer

    Remove all of the fasteners (bolts, screws, and nuts) holding the instrument panel to the body. Remove the lower front portion of the console by removing two nuts, then slide the console to the rear and out (it is held to the instrument panel by clips at the top). Remove the nut and bolts holding the instrument panel at the left side. At the right side of the instrument panel, remove the nut at the cross-cowl tube, then the bolts. Once all are removed, lift the panel, pull it away from the windshield, and take it out through the driver's door opening. Note: This is a two-person job.
