Q:
How do you remove the blower motor and resistor in a Toyota Tacoma? Posted by Customer
A:
To remove the blower motor, start by locating it under the dash, behind the glove box. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector, then remove the three mounting screws. Lower the blower assembly from the housing and remove the spring clamp to separate the fan from the blower motor. For the resistor, it is situated on the blower duct under the dash. Directly access the resistor, disconnect its electrical connector, and remove the mounting screws. During installation, follow the reverse order of the removal process for both the blower motor and resistor.
