    Q:
How to remove the blower? Posted by Customer
    A:
To remove the blower, first, check the fuse and connections for any looseness or corrosion. Then, remove the glove compartment door and disconnect the electrical wiring. Cut out the glove compartment reinforcement bar and remove the PCM. Next, remove the blower assembly and cabin air filter. Take out the blower motor controller and blower case. Disconnect the wiring from the motor and remove the motor mounting screws. For installation, simply reverse the removal steps. To remove the heater assembly/blower, remove the lower instrument panel and interfering computers. Take off the upper air duct and disconnect the 10 connectors, labeling them for reassembly. Remove the screws and nut securing the blower unit, as well as the air inlet servo and motor control. Lift off the blower motor cover and detach the wiring harness. Finally, remove the blower motor with the run attached. For installation, reverse the removal steps and double-check all connections before installing the instrument panel.
