    Apply a 3 to 5 mm wide bead of ATV sealant to the oil pan flange. When installing the oil pan, apply a 3 to 5 mm bead of RTV sealant to the flange, ensuring the bead is offset approximately 6 mm at the end of the pan that bolts to the underside of the rear main oil seal retainer. Place the pan in position and apply a thin bead of sealant around each mounting bolt hole before installing the bolts. Install all 19 bolts and two nuts and tighten them to the specified torque.
