    Q:
What are the steps for replacing the throttle body for the 1996 Toyota 4Runner? Posted by Customer
    A:
    1. Detach the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. 2. Loosen the hose clamps and remove the air intake duct. 3. Detach the accelerator cable from the throttle lever. 4. Detach the throttle cable bracket and set it aside. 5. If equipped with an automatic transmission, detach the throttle valve (TV) cable from the throttle linkage and set it aside. 6. Label and detach all vacuum and coolant hoses from the throttle body, plugging the coolant hoses to prevent loss. 7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the throttle position sensor (TPS). 8. Remove the throttle body mounting bolts. 9. Detach the throttle body and gasket from the intake manifold. 10. Clean the throttle body casting with a soft brush and aerosol carburetor cleaner, blowing out all passages with compressed air. Do not clean the TPS; just wipe it off with a clean cloth. 11. Installation is the reverse of removal, ensuring to tighten the throttle body mounting bolts to the specified torque.

What are the steps for replacing the fuel pressure regulator for the 1997 Toyota Tacoma? Posted by Customer
    A:
    1. Relieve the fuel pressure and detach the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. 2. Detach the vacuum sensing hose from the regulator. 3. Place a metal container or shop towel under the fuel return hose. 4. Squeeze the hose clamp and detach the fuel return hose from the regulator. 5. On four-cylinder engines, detach the fuel return line and remove the two regulator bolts. On 3.0L V6 engines, use a wrench to unscrew the regulator. On 3.4L V6 models, the regulator is located on the rear of the intake plenum. 6. On 2.4L, 2.7L, and 3.4L engines, remove the pressure regulator mounting bolts and detach the regulator from the fuel rail. On 3.0L engines, unscrew the regulator and retrieve the O-ring. 7. Use a new O-ring and ensure the pressure regulator is installed properly on the fuel rail. The remainder of installation is the reverse of removal.
