Before removing the accessory drive-belts, lift the front part of the car and support it on jackstands. Next, disconnect the radiator and then carefully take off the flywheel or driveplate access cover. Jam a large screwdriver in the crankshaft's ring gear to lock the mechanism from spinning as you turn the large bolt counterclockwise then take out the large bolt that is in the middle of the crankshaft pulley. To remove the pulley from the nose of the crankshaft, use a puller in such a way that it grabs the pulley hub and not the groove. For installation, clean and apply multi purpose grease to smooth operating part of crankshaft pulley and place the crank pulley over the crank, properly axing the Woodruff key with key way in the crank pulley. Seat the pulley on the crankshaft by using a large socket or pipe on the crankshaft and hitting with a hammer until it sets, install the bolt and tighten it to the recommended torque. The rest of the procedure is the exact opposite of what has been outlined in removal of the installation.
