First of all, it is important to relieve the fuel system pressure, remove the fuel tank cap, disconnect the negative battery terminal, and remove the fuel tank. Also, disconnect the fuel supply line and connector at the fuel pump module, remove the eight retaining bolts, and take out the fuel pump module assembly. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel pump body. Remove the springs from the sliders, separate the sub-tanks, and remove the jet pump module. Use a screwdriver to remove the jet pump, replace the O-ring, and remove the Fuel Level Sensor.
