The camshaft position sensor affects the position for constant fuel injection in each cylinder. Disconnect the harness connector, remove the mounting screws, and proceed to remove the camshaft sensor from the cylinder head.

The crankshaft position sensor (CKP) is responsible for determining the timing of fuel injection and ignition on each cylinder. In four-cylinder models, the sensor is located under the timing belt cover, while in V6 models, it is mounted outside the cover above the crankshaft pulley. Slide out the bracket from under the oil cooler hoses, disconnect the sensor's electrical connector, remove the sensor, and apply clean engine oil to the O-ring before reinstalling and tightening the retaining bolt securely. By following these steps, you can effectively access and work with the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensors on both four-cylinder and V6 models.

1. Loosen the right front wheel lug nuts.2. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.3. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it securely on jack stands.4.
