To remove the fuel pump, relieve the fuel pressure, remove the fuel tank, disconnect the electrical connector, and remove the fuel supply and return line fittings. For the Fuel Level Sensor, the electrical connector is disconnected, and the lock tab is released. For the fuel pump, the Fuel Level Sensor is removed, and the electrical connector is disconnected. The suction filter hose and plastic tubes are detached, and the fuel suction plate is separated. The fuel suction filter is removed from the fuel pump, and the fuel pump harness electrical connector is disconnected. For installation, the Fuel Pressure Regulator is pushed into the housing with new O-rings, the spacer and new O-ring are installed on the pump, and the electrical connector is connected. The fuel pump is then slid into the assembly, aligning it with the outlet, and the fuel suction filter is engaged. The remaining steps are the reverse of removal.

After that, the electrical connector needs to be disconnected from the fuel pump/fuel level sending unit, and the tube joint U-clips are removed to disconnect the fuel supply and return line fittings.
