1. Relieve the fuel pressure and disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. 2. Disconnect the cold start injector electrical connector. 3. Place a container under the banjo fitting and remove the banjo bolt and sealing washers. 4. Remove the cold start injector mounting nuts and the injector.

Verify that the throttle linkage operates smoothly. Start the engine, detach each vacuum hose, and check the vacuum at each port on the throttle body with a vacuum gauge at idle and above idle, then compare observations with the accompanying tables.

1. Relieve the fuel pressure and detach the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. 2. Remove the PCV hose from the cylinder head and intake manifold. 3. Remove the air intake plenum. 4. Mark each injector connector, disconnect the fuel injector electrical connectors, and set the injector wire harness aside. 5. Detach the vacuum sensing hose from the fuel pressure regulator. 6. Disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel pressure regulator and the fuel rail. 7. Remove the fuel rail mounting bolts and the fuel rail with the injectors attached. 8. Pull the fuel injector(s) straight out from the fuel rail. 9. If reusing the same injectors, replace the grommets and O-rings. 10. Installation is the reverse of removal, tightening the fuel rail mounting bolts to the specified torque.
