On 2014 and later models, remove the radiator grille. Next, remove the two headlight housing trim clips and carefully pry the trim panel out, disengaging the two remaining clips on the back of the panel. Then, remove the headlight housing retaining fasteners and pull out the assembly, noting that on 2015 and later models, the headlight housing uses clips and retaining screws to hold it in place. Unplug the electrical connector from the headlight bulb and the adjuster motor, if equipped. Installation is the reverse of removal, and it is important to check and adjust the headlights afterward.

With the high beams on, the high-intensity zone should be vertically centered with the exact center just below the horizontal line. It may not be possible to position the headlight aim exactly for both high and low beams, so if a compromise must be made, prioritize the low beams as they are most used and have the greatest effect on driver safety.

Remove the headlight housing retaining fasteners and pull out the assembly. Note that on 2015 and later models, the headlight housing uses clips and retaining screws to hold it in place.

Position masking tape vertically on the wall in reference to the vehicle centerline and the centerlines of both headlights.
