Servicing the LSP & BV at home is not recommended due to the specialized gauge set required, but it can be replaced by the vehicle owner. However, adjusting the unit should be done by a dealer service department or qualified repair shop. Removal and installation instructions vary depending on the model of the vehicle. After installation, it is necessary to bleed the brake hydraulic system and have the LSP & BV adjusted by a professional.
