- Q: How to remove and install a radiator for your Toyota Matrix?A: To remove the radiator, disconnect the cable from the battery's negative terminal, drain the engine coolant detach both the upper and lower radiator hoses from the radiator, and the reservoir hose from the radiator filler neck.
