What are the components and steps involved in removing and installing the front and rear bumpers on Toyota Rav4?

In order to replace the front bumper components, first turn the parking brake on, lift the front of the car and set it on jack stands and then turn the hood. Remove the black cable from the negative terminal of the battery and wait for a least two minutes. Following that, work below the car to detach the front wheel mud guards and lower bumpers, engage the steering wheel in the appropriate direction to gain access to the side fasteners and rotational access to the upper side fastener, thus, disengaging the lower side fastener. Pop the nuts at the rear side of the cover and pry off the bumper cover by wedging in a flat tool to pry off individual clips where the bumper cover meets the fender and head lamp area. If equipped the fog lights need to be disconnected and, with the help of another person, release the bumper and take it off the car. When refitting, involve the following measures: Remove the clamps and spread the tabs on the rear side of the bumper cover to fit into the corresponding clips, then tighten bolts and screws. To work on the frontal part of the assembly, one has to remove the front bumper cover and the bumper impact foam part. Pull electrical connectors separated from the center and then remove the fasteners of the center support. For the upper support, unbolt the headlight housings and if doing so then unbolt the upper support, and if needed the upper radiator splash shield. For the front bumper, some of the process that would be followed are as follows; The front bumper cover and center support needs to be unplugged, the wiring harness clips need to be unscrewed in the front bumper and the front bumper mounting bolts popped off. For the rear bumper components, first, flip the lift gate and then unscrew the fasteners of the rear bumper cover as mentioned in the sequence. All the fasteners are now removed and with less effort the last part is to unscrew the remaining claw like clips, and with one's partner the rear bumper cover is pulled of the car. Replacement on the rear bumper, first, remove the rear bumper cover, together with the rear bumper mounting fasteners, and if needed, the rear bumper mounting brackets from the vehicle body, while installation is done through the reverse procedure.

Q: What are the components and steps involved in removing and installing the front and rear bumpers on Toyota Rav4?
A: In order to replace the front bumper components, first turn the parking brake on, lift the front of the car and set it on jack stands and then turn the hood. Remove the black cable from the negative terminal of the battery and wait for a least two minutes. Following that, work below the car to detach the front wheel mud guards and lower bumpers, engage the steering wheel in the appropriate direction to gain access to the side fasteners and rotational access to the upper side fastener, thus, disengaging the lower side fastener. Pop the nuts at the rear side of the cover and pry off the bumper cover by wedging in a flat tool to pry off individual clips where the bumper cover meets the fender and head lamp area. If equipped the fog lights need to be disconnected and, with the help of another person, release the bumper and take it off the car. When refitting, involve the following measures: Remove the clamps and spread the tabs on the rear side of the bumper cover to fit into the corresponding clips, then tighten bolts and screws. To work on the frontal part of the assembly, one has to remove the front bumper cover and the bumper impact foam part. Pull electrical connectors separated from the center and then remove the fasteners of the center support. For the upper support, unbolt the headlight housings and if doing so then unbolt the upper support, and if needed the upper radiator splash shield.
