Begin by raising the vehicle and securely supporting it on jackstands before removing the front wheel. Next, take out the side marker lights and disconnect any other lighting components that may obstruct fender removal. If the radiator Grille includes the headlight trim, remove the grille; otherwise, detach the trim piece below the headlights by removing a screw from the inner end and disengaging the outer end from under the headlight, noting that the bolt below the headlight is the front fender bolt. Detach the wheel housing splash shields from the fender, which are secured with various screws and clips that differ by model. Remove the retaining bolts from the top edge of the fender, then open the door to access and remove the retaining bolt at the upper rear corner of the fender.
