    1. Remove the rear seat. 2. Disconnect the speed sensor wire from the axle only if it interferes with shock removal. 3. Put jacks (with wood blocks on top) under the rear of each end of the rear axle to support it. 4. Remove the upper three fasteners from the shock absorber. 5. Remove the nut and washers from the lower mounts and guide the shocks out.
