Ensure you have the activation code for your vehicle's stereo if it has an anti-theft system before disconnecting the battery. The blower unit is in the cooling assembly under the dash. If it doesn't work, check the fuse and all connections. Ensure the battery is fully charged. Locate the blower unit electrical connector. If the blower motor doesn't work, disconnect the connector, turn the ignition key On and check for battery voltage. If it's not present, there's a problem in the ignition feed circuit or from the blower switch to the motor. If voltage is present, reconnect the terminal and backprobe with a jumper wire. If the motor doesn't operate, it's likely faulty. If the motor is good but doesn't operate, the blower resistor or control switch is likely faulty. Check for continuity through the switch and across the resistor terminals. If the blower motor needs replacement, remove the bracket, the three mounting screws and lower the blower assembly. The fan can be reused on the new motor. Installation is the reverse of removal. Check for proper operation.
