To replace the hazard warning switch on a Camry, disconnect the battery, remove the instrument panel registers, and disconnect the switch connector. For Avalon, remove the center trim panel and disconnect the connector before removing the switch. For Lexus, remove the center cluster finish panel and separate the radio from the heater control panel to access the switch. To replace the power mirror control switch, remove the knee bolster trim panel and the driver's side trim panel. Disconnect the connector and disengage the mounting clips. On Camry models, pry the switch from the panel and disconnect the connector. The defogger and A/C control switches are one unit. To replace the illumination rheostat, remove the driver's side trim panel, pry the switch from the panel, disconnect the connector, and remove the switch. For power outlets, pry the switch base from the center console on Avalon and Lexus models, disconnect the connector, and push the outlet through the panel.
