These headlights need to be aimed in the correct manner since they can blind other drivers on the road to an extent of causing major accidents or hinder forward visibility. It is good practice to refer to the aim at least once a year and each time a new headlight bulb is fitted or front end car bodywork is changed. There is no screw relating to the horizontal adjustment but there are vertical adjustment screws, they are located between the headlight housing and the vehicle body. One of the means of adjustment is very elementary and it requires a blank wall, tapes, and masking tapes and a level floor. Having set the car just a few inches from the wall, stick the masking tape horizontally parallel to the car centerline and vertically parallel to both headlight centerlines, and also set another horizontal tape line in relation to the car centerline and all the headlights of the car. The vehicle should be parked half a body length away from the wall and should be straight, half tank of full gas and no carried load. For low beam adjustment position the high intense zone two inches below the line that is horizontal and turn the screw in clockwise direction to uplift the beam and in anticlockwise direction to lower the beam. Headlights should be positioned somewhat lower than the horizontal if the high beams are on and in the high intensity zone, however noticing that low beams are more important because of the frequent use at night. Headlights should be aligned by a dealer service department or service station as soon as possible.

1. Remove the fender inner liners and the front bumper cover. 2. Remove the three fasteners from the headlight assembly. 3. Disconnect all of the wiring and lift the headlight out. 4. Installation is the reverse of removal. Be sure to check headlight adjustment.
