A: It is fixed on the top of the air filter housing or more specifically known as the MAF/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor. It is recommended to start this process with the ignition key being placed in the Off position. With the MAF/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor located and wire harness routed, pull on the green release tab and unplug the electrical to the MAF/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor. If the particular model is a V6 model, one has to start by removing the sensor retaining screws; for a V8 model, one detaches the connector then the retaining screws are removed. Disconnect the MAF/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor connector and, after that, unscrew the sensor and take it out. To uninstall, there is a need to follow the steps observed when uninstalling the same in the reverse order.
