How do you remove the fuel tank on Toyota Sienna?

First of all, release the fuel pressure and after this, unscrew the fuel filler cap in order to release the pressure in fuel tank. Next, the connection of the other end of the cable to the negative terminal of the battery should be removed. If the tank is full, or almost full, pump the fuel into another permissible container with the help of the siphoning tool purchased at any auto parts stores. Lift the car and properly support it using jackstands; then, take off any excess bracing, and shields inside the canister and filler hose. For models before 2006, it will be necessary to disconnect the rear part of the exhaust system. Pull the tabs of the fuel tank vent and supply tubes and set them apart to remove the connections. Place a floor jack underneath the fuel tank and put a plank between the jack head and the fuel tank to avoid scratching it then unscrew the bolts and the plastic fuel tank shield. Drain the tank strap bolts-or for early models take out the tank strap bolts from the body as well as bolts from the fuel tank retaining straps. Lower the tank enough to pull off the electrical connector from the fuel pump, and the fuel gauge sending unit. Remove the fuel lines, the vapor return line, and the fuel inlet pipe from the fuel tank fillings, ensure you used plugs to block the hoses against dripping. Last but not the least, pull out the tank from the car, and as for the installation process, it is the reversal of the above steps.
